In September 2006, we were awarded the U.S. 2010 Census Decennial Response Integration System (DRIS) contract on the Lockheed Martin and Evolver team. The Census Bureau will use the integrated response system to provide respondent assistance and data capture for the 2010 Census.
We studied the old Fortran-based application under VAX/VMS system. The client planned to move from the old mainframe application to a client server-based application for added performance, security, and cost-effectiveness. But due to vast population data and complex algorithms, the client needed success in moving the application to a client server-based application. Much frustration was hanging around.
With our expertise in Oracle Database, data architecture, Unix-based applications, and in-depth knowledge of solving glitches, we gave the best architectural solutions and technical consultation for the best performance. The answer was very cost-effective. We could increase their application performance by more than 300%. Without any hitch in mind, this helped the client move to the client-server application.
